CD "Gardens of Medici": "An unheard journey . You really have assembled a treasure there – New Music, which does not lade the cerebellum, but drags along and takes the sensitive and, too, the romantic heart by the hand. The worlds of tones are exciting – most of all "Voces de mi tierra" by Elisenda Fabregas and "Colours of the Sea" by Elena Kats-Chernin have impressed me very much. Regarding the "Colours" this statement is much too weak: I think this piece is gigantic - sinfonic, colourful, agitated – the sound of the cello is amazing, your flute is in the middle of it all like a small boat that rocks to and fro on the colours of the sea, adhered by the captain at the piano - excellent!

The whole ensemble sings and dances together very well - I also like the sound mix. The red poppies on the cover are a manifesto: there is something infatuating on this cd" [...] Roland Kunz / Bayerischer und Saarländischer Rundfunk

"In my eyes, the combination is very attractive, too: lots of works that focus on landscapres and nature. Poetical and powerful at the same time! And performed very precisely, at the same time full of spirits and passion! In short: I like your CD very much!" Dr. Renate Hüsken, musicologist

"As I listened to this music, its beauty and tranquillity quickly restored me to peace and harmony. 'Gardens' is a lovely piece ... The performances by this trio are superb ..." Keith Davies Jones, reviewer for "Welsh Music." Canada

VivaVoce Nr. 72/05: "The CD release of the Meininger-Trio is on a very high level, die Interpretation der Werke ist schlüssig und lotet detailreich die Facetten der Kompositionen aus." Simon Rettelbach

CD Meininger-Trio 2003: "I recently received a CD done by the Meininger Trio, which included a piece of mine. The piece is my Lyric Trio, and I am very happy with the results. The performance is terrific. The other two pieces also bring me great pleasure. I want to express my thanks to the Meininger Trio – and particularly Christiane Meininger for this fine performance and excellent CD. Thanks also to the company that issued the CD". With great appreciation, Katherine Hoover
