Christiane Meininger, flute
Christiane Meininger studied with Ricarda Broehl at the Musikhochschule in Aachen/Germany and distinguishes herself as a master pupil of Severino Gazzelloni at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana at Siena/Italy. She has launched several chamber music ensembles, among them the Meininger Trio (flute, cello, piano), which within a few years has acquired an excellent reputation.
Of particular importance for the flutist is the realisation of musical ideas and, conjuncted to that, the creative communication with her chamber music partners and the composers. Thus, again and again new and fancy projects arise and apart from that: wonderful new music for the versatile possibilities of her instrument, which were dedicated to her and her ensembles by well-established composers from all over the world.
