Jane Berthe, Harp
Jane Berthe was born in Douai (France), at the age of 9 she already studied the harp at Conservatoire Nationale de Région in Douai.
After her exams in harp, solfège and harmony in 1988, she continued her studies at the Musikhochschule Freiburg in Breisgau with Ursula Holliger.
She followed workshops and master classes with Maître Jamet, F. Cambreling und Odette Le Dentu
As solist, member of chamber music ensembles and und orchestra musician she has been frequently invited to Freiburger Barocksolisten, Beethoven Orchester, Saarländischer Rundfunk, Dortmunder Philharmoniker und WDR Orchester Köln
Between 1991 and 2001 she taught masterclasses at Belfort (F) and Reigoldswil (CH).
Since 2001 Jane Berthe lives as a free-lance harpist in Bonn/Germany
